Spontaneous!

Today I finally cleaned our bedroom. It was draining so I slept right after and when I woke up, my sister asked me to accompany her to the mall. She needed some things for school and I decided to go since I was planning to buy a new umbrella. She agreed and told me the fare was on her.

I thought it would be the first in a while, that we'd go to the mall commuting. I'm such a couch potato I didn't want to walk and wait for a tricycle and go down and wait again and get aboard a bus to finally reach the mall.

But just as I got out of the bathroom, my sister informed me that mom would come and pick us up after we're ready and accompany us to the mall. She called and told my sister to give her a call once we're ready. I had a big evil grin planted on my face thereafter.

One thing I re-figured was that 'mothers pay for your purchases no matter what the quantity is nor how expensive it was.'

Haha. I'm such a baddie. :D

I got to slash a pretty big one in my 'to buy' list. My mom got me a watch from am-blvd. I got to buy new shirts.

At last, I got an umbrella. Last Thursday it rained and I had to share umbrella with the guy behind me from the tricycle lane (kilig moment lol). And last Friday I had to share umbrella with Pau just because I didn't have mine.

We got home by 8PM. It was fun.

Okay, I was going to type 'tomorrow' here but I just realized the time is 1AM already so I'd greet you a pleasant morning. Time do fly, when you're blogging fun. Haha.

Anyway, later this morning, at around 9AM, me and my group mates slash friends should be at McDonald's at La Salle, Vito Cruz. We're going to Eco Park, as far as I can remember for a little photo shoot slash exercise for our photography class.

See ya.
Sorry for the long update.

Spam

Everywhere I go there's spam...

Just a little update.

My school suspended classes last week and will resume on Tuesday, June 30. I was actually waiting for the TV advisory but it never came and just this day an acquaintance spread the word that it was 'published' in local news. Not even in a live broadcast.

Call me bitter, but why did they choose to notify oh so freakin' late? I heard some students still went to school.

So, this 'vacation' is buying me quite a time to catch up with my you know... things. And sleep too!

I have finished my final plate for Computer Art and it is ready for printing.

Meanwhile my uh, final plate in Illustration and Cartooning class is still hanging. It's a whopping 3'by4' feet oil painting on canvas. I was stunned when my father showed me the frame. It's almost as big as me! But don't get me wrong cause I exaggerate most of the time. I was just taken aback by its size. And it has to be submitted on the first week of July so I'm probably dead by that time.

My final plate for Basic Graphic Design is on my to-do list today. I just wonder how I'm going to finish it. And I'm crazy over shirt designs. I've been keeping myself occupied designing some. I would get them printed once I have money and since it's 'vacation', it's a pretty thin chance.

I'm also claiming my 'Little Miss MaScian" shirt by the end of the month. It's in color white since it's my new fetish - white tees. By the way the shirts I have designed are also in white.

So, after my 'little update', I'd like to ask if you know a shop that would put my designs on tees? Somewhere affordable but with quality of course. Because I was planning to have it done in the mall but they give us a pretty high rate.

Oh, this was quite an update.

This is the kind of time I feel like just slacking all night despite the works that sit next to me. The time when I feel happy and just; not too cheery nor less than what I usually expect of my day.

Illustrator's sinking in so slowly. I'm beginning to accept the criticisms... well, not really criticisms but advices by our professor on my works. I have to learn to accept these since I'm not used to it, if I really want to pursue my career in this field because I'm not the person I'm going to work for in the future. And I'm starting to feel good with using Illustrator, as though it's working with me now.

Also, today I almost died. A good thing I have a mind.

So, first week has been concluded.

I think I'm still not over my first week sickness.

MAS115 saved the day. I love CS4 photoshop - in contrast to illustrator. I'm not going to say anything negative about both programs because I'm biased. It's my personal preference and for me photoshop is still the better one. I know they have different specializations though, otherwise it's senseless.

Today is the day before I conclude my first week, fourth term in Mapua. It was not much... not that I could remember. But anyway, I feel kind of satisfied.

First thing, our Fil10 professor, well everyone said she's a 'terror' professor, was actually just like Mrs. Pantoja, our English professor back in first term. I guess people based their judgment loosely on the fact that she's a strict professor and hell am I prepared for that. My History teachers in high school were more than enough to get myself ready for terrors.

I guess what's terrorizing me more is Talumpati. *grins*

My majors are hell. I mean that in every negative aspect possible. In one of our major subjects, we're utilizing a software called Adobe Illustrator. I'm telling you right now that I'm having a hard time coping with it. I'm more than familiar with Photoshop, which is another Adobe software, and I'm not good at it. Not to mention the new interface of MAC and the versions (CS3 and CS4).

So I came up with this decision. Fail one major and I'm going another place. When I say place I say course/program.

My mom talked to my brother about the stuff I'm going to need in my years as I continue to take up BS MAS in Mapua. He said in a joking tone, "Lipat ka na ng EE, haha". The truth was, I have been planning to shift since second term. My classmates were a gazillion times better than me. They had the advantages in every facet. Most of them have experienced using tablets and they have deviantart accounts. And now the Adobe software. Fvkc.

I don't know, but...
I really don't know.

Still there, holding confusion.

Shaken

I saw him today. A lot.
Feels good, when he looks at me with that unfathomable smile of his.
Pink is the color of the day.

P.S. I'm thinking. Drop Fil10. Drop Fil10. I want to. But cannot.

First Day

Bad trip.
Lots of headaches going on.
Homesick.
Sore feet.
Not enough sleep.
Essay on Fil10. (I had a hard time translating words from English to Tagalog)

I believe, Sleepless nights' here.
